Before moving to Morgantown, this family called four other states home, but this home is the only one Aaron, two, has known. It is the the first home the couple purchased together and the one their son has grown into a toddler in. I met them days before they board a moving van and take their things to their sixth state together. I was so honored to be able to document their time in this beautiful, hundred year old home before they have another house to make their own.
The stars aligned after having to reschedule and waiting for things to feel a little more safe, because we ended up with the perfect weather for playing in the backyard and pushing Elmo around Park Street. After having just met this beautiful family, I can honestly say I wish they weren’t moving. My time with them was such a gift. It felt so good to be back to documenting family after two months away.
